The project involves the creation of a GUI in which the user may draw a floorplan of a residential or multi-floor commercial property. A sidebar list of widgets will appear that denotes the location of windows, wall switches, and electronic controllers. The user will drag the widget onto the floorplan to establish a location, name and parameters for the widget. They will also draw lines to connect windows and switches to controllers. This could use an existing floorplan program that provides API's. A sample showing the ability of the programmer to accomplish this task is required.

This could be both a description of the approach that would be used and a small sample of a subset of the functionality.
